Today’s Student Spotlight is on Tylisha (Lish) Faye Mccauley. She was born on April 21st, 2006 in Pender, Nebraska. Because her birthday falls on April 21st she is a Taurus. It is important to note that Taurus women are considered to be the most faithful of all zodiac signs. However, when tougher times prevail, it may bring out the worst in them! Yikes! When asked, “What is something unique about you?” Lish answered, “My smile of course!” Speaking of something that makes her smile, her favorite subject is English. She doesn’t like the material ‘per se’, but she do be likin spendin time wiff her homies Herm da Bracht and Peepa La Piep! Lish is a busy lady here at Umóⁿhoⁿ Nation as she played volleyball in the fall and is currently playing basketball. In volleyball Lish was an outside hitter and was the MVP of the team. On the hardcourt Lish is a guard with some serious handles and dishing abilities. She can also score when she needs to!

Lish is also planning to run track this spring. She says that she likes the sprinting events the best! Why? Because they are short and over quickly! In addition to playing sports, Lish also enjoys watching them. Her favorite college team to watch is USC Basketball (both women and men). She especially likes to watch JuJu Watkins.
“I like her because she is a 6’ guard who can do it all on both ends of the court.” Lish has some hobbies outside of school as well. She enjoys sleeping, watching her phone, and shopping. Lish said she enjoys sleeping in her dark cold room for three or four hours at a time - Her phone watching includes a heavy dose of TikTok because ‘it’s trending!” - And, she shops everywhere and anywhere, but online shopping is best. Our girl Lish also enjoys playing on her travel basketball team: The Umóⁿhoⁿ Reign. We here at the Squad haven’t seen them play but with a name like that they must be legit. “Dat’s Facts!,” says lifetime J-Squad member Herm Dat Man Parker. Another hobby for Lish is watching her favorite television show, Baddies East. “I enjoy their beefing and fighting,” said Lish. When it comes to music, our girl Lish likes her some R&B and Rap. A favorite R&B artist is Ashanti and a favorite rapper is anyone from the Beastie Boys. Just kidding, she likes her some Drake. And for our less cultured readers like Vogt, R&B stands for Rhythm and Blues. If Lish went on a dream date it would be with Baller Lamell Ball.
They would eat Mac & Cheese and they would cruise around in a Chrysler of some kind. If Hollywood made a movie about her life, Lish would choose her good friend Mikkel Parker to play the part of ‘Lish.’ One of the Most memorable highschool moments for Lish was when she transferred to UNPS. “I was scared,” said Lish, “But I don’t regret my decision!” Incidentally, If Lish could choose one song to play every time she walked into a room it would be ‘Lady in Red’ by Chris de Burgh - Wait, that’s Fehringer’s song - Lish would pick any song by her boi Drake.
