The Lady Chiefs Volleyball Team opened their season this past Saturday as they traveled to Omaha for the Boys Town Tournament. Our girls finished 2-1 with wins over Boys Town and Pa’he. Our only defeat came at the hands of Weeping Water. Here are the set by set results!
Game 1 - Win vs Boys Town: (25-4, 25-14)
Game 2 - Loss vs Weeping Water: (11-25, 10-25)
Game 3 - Win vs Pa’he: (25-18, 25-23)

J-Squad: How many ladies are on the team this year?
Guy: The most we have ever had! 35 players!
J-Squad: How is the team looking in practice?
Guy: We are a work in progress. But we are working hard and learning the ropes as we go.
J-Squad: How do you feel we played at Boys Town?
Guy: We didn’t play up to our full potential but we played well.
J-Squad: What is your team goal for the season?
Guy: We are trying to break the 16 game win record that we set last year.
J-Squad: Gotta love the confidence put forth by the head dude! But… questions remain: Will Guy bleach his hair if they break the record? Will his assistant Bryna bleach her hair if they break the record?… Will Guy shave his head if they break the record? Are eyebrows considered facial hair?
